The Zlagboard Contest gives you the chance to measure your finger strength and compete with climbers and professional athletes from all over the world at the stand of Vertical-Life at the Melloblocco 2015.
After 13 international stops, like Munich and Gijón (IFSC World Championships), Arco (Rockmaster) and many more, many well-known climbers are on the world ranking. The current world record was set by Ramonet Puigblanque, who managed to hang for an unbelievable 2 minutes 44,34 seconds. The battle of hangtimes will now take place at the Melloblocco, biggest climbing meeting in the world. Everybody will have the chance to measure themselves on the brandnew hangboard. The mode is simple: participants have to grab a pair of 2cm-holds on the wooden board and hang as long as they can. The time is measured precisely and becomes part of the official world ranking. Great prizes are waiting, among them a climbing weekend in Gröden/Val Gardena, South Tyrol.
Zlagboard – the smart hangboard
The Zlagboard is the further development of an ordinary hangboard. With its associated app, the board system enables climbers to schedule and control their training in an innovative and highly accurate manner. The device mechanism activates the sensors of a smartphone and automatically controls the training plans of the app. The training programs are designed by world class climbers and trainers, defining exercises, hang and rest times. The first sets of training plans have been designed by Patxi Usobiaga, Dicki Korb and Patrick Matros (Gimme Kraft).
