MELLOBLOCCO TEAM 2025 - Boulder setter: EMANUELE TICOZZI

I started climbing after the pandemic when, having been forced to stop my other sports, I got hooked on rock climbing.

My dad used to climb when I was young and I remember climbing up and down the old, now unused panel that was left at my grandparents' house.

After covid I decided to devote myself completely to climbing and after a couple of years of crags and multipitch I turned to bouldering.

After only a few outings I became interested in block cleaning and have now been devoting my days in the valley to exploring and cleaning new blocks and lines for more than two years.

Since I started scratching moss, between new and forgotten lines I have cleaned about a hundred of them.

I am very happy to be able to contribute to the climbing community with my work, both for the Melloblocco and for all the other blocks I have cleaned, which will soon be added to the guidebook.

Exploring the valley and cleaning the boulders makes me feel good, being alone surrounded by nature recharges me, I feel like I was born to do this.
