Riserva Val di Mello and Melloblocco together again

For the third year in a row, the Val di Mello Nature Reserve will be present at Melloblocco with its information stand, a reference point for all those who wish to learn more about this extraordinary natural heritage. The aim is twofold: on the one hand to highlight the beauty and uniqueness of the Reserve, and on the other to raise visitors' awareness of the importance of environmental protection and conscious use of the area.

Thanks to the project ‘Sounds and Movement, Traces of Biodiversity’, more simply known as SuMo, financed under the PNRR - Next Generation EU cascade calls, during the four-day event the ‘Hunt for the Treasures of the Reserve’ will be proposed again, with a novelty, a step-by-step activity that will allow visitors to discover some curiosities about the reserve and its inhabitants.

You can pick up the activity map at the Reserve Stand, set up next to the Infopoint in S. Martino; there you will be welcomed by the Environmental Civil Service operators, who will give you all the instructions for starting the activity. Once you have found all the stages and carried out the tests, you can return for validation and collect a small gadget!

Not to miss anything, on Friday 9 at 18:30 at the Melloblocco Village come and listen to Naturalist Samuele Romagnoli's talk ‘Echoes from the reserve: Bioacoustics and human impact on fauna in the Val di Mello Nature Reserve’.
